cert6This is an Urban System Project with four (4) lanes divided road.  ILSI Engineering, as Prime Consultant, was required to provide the engineering design and environmental services for the preparation of engineering plans, special provisions and estimates, and a Categorical Exclusion.

The project scope has recently been modified and the design shall be completed within one year. The project length is approximately 2,000 feet with two (2) roadways with a foot-print of 32 feet each.  Each roadway consists of two (2) 11.0 foot.  Travel Lanes and one (1) 7.0 foot Parking Lane, with concrete mountable curbs on the property side and a barrier curb on the median side. The median is approximately 98.0 feet wide.

The pavement structure consist of a 2 inch layer of superpave asphalt concrete wearing course, a 2 inch layer of superpave asphalt concrete binder course, a 4 inch layer of superpave asphalt concrete base course and a 12 inch layer of crushed stone or recycled Portland cement concrete base course, all on a geogrid and geotextile fabric. The project includes the following:

    • installation of a 12-inch diameter PVC waterline,
    • an 8-inch diameter PVC waterline,
    • installation of new service connections,
    • new valves and water manholes, and appurtenances,
    • new drainage system with catch basins and drain manholes, and incidentals,
    • sewer point repairs, and
    • reconstruction of sidewalks and driveways and incidentals
