This was an Urban System Project with four (4) lanes divided road. ILSI Engineering, as Prime Consultant, was required to provide the engineering design and environmental services for the preparation of engineering plans, special provisions and estimates, and a Categorical Exclusion.

The project length is approximately 5,300 feet with two (2) roadways with a foot-print of 32 feet each.  Each roadway consists of two (2) 11 feet travel lanes and one (1) 7 feet parking lanes, with concrete mountable curbs on the property side and a barrier curb on the median side.  The median is approximately 93 feet wide.

The project required the removal of the existing asphalt pavement to the underlying concrete pavement, overlaying the existing exposed concrete with an asphalt leveling course (1-1/2-inch average thickness), applying a two (2) inch layer of superpave asphalt wearing course, joint repairs, application of glass grid or equal, and patching.

The project includes replacing the following:

    • designated curbs and gutter-bottoms,
    • sidewalks and driveways only at location shown on plans,
    • minor drainage repairs,
    • sewer point repairs,
    • construction signage and striping, and incidentals.
